Institute of Chartered Corporate Secretaries of Sri Lanka
Institute of Chartered Corporate Secretaries of Sri Lanka, a pioneer among Sri Lanka's Professional Institutes, provides strength and guidance to Sri Lankan companies by producing chartered corporate secretaries who serve the country's corporate sector. Established in the year 1952 as an Association of Sri Lankan Members of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of the United Kingdom, ICCSSL performs as a silent and indirect partner in the economic prosperity of Sri Lanka.
In 1985 ICCSSL was re-established as a Company Limited by Guarantee; and incorporated in Sri Lanka under the Companies Act No.17 of 1982 and re-registered under the Companies Act No.07 of 2007. With the introduction of the Post Graduate Diploma in Chartered Corporate Secretarial Practices in 2024, ICCSSL offers a broad spectrum of subjects, covering Company secretariat practices, Corporate Governance, Capital Marker regulations, Compliance and Risk Management, Management Accounting and Finance, Business and Corporate Law, Business Management and Communication, and Taxation.
